«OUR TIME»: ZHALGAS TLEUMURATIN

Student of 10th grade of Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Nur-Sultan Zhalgas Tleumuratin visited "Our Time" program of Radio AstanaFM.

The hosts of the program asked questions about his favorite subjects, future profession and hobbies of Zhalgas. Zhalgas has a lot of favorite subjects, but he noted three close to him. These are: Mathematics - he liked it since 4th grade, participated in various Olympiads and took prizes; Physics - he started to take interest in 7th grade; and English - he likes to learn foreign languages. For him, these three subjects occupy a special place and will help him become a specialist and human being.  In his opinion, an engineer is one of the most popular and important professions and also has a great future in technical education.

In his free time Zhalgas writes poems on a free theme. Poetic skills of Zhalgas should be transferred from his grandfather, the honored worker of culture of the Kazakh SSR, poet, kyushi, journalist, public figure Tleumurat Kozhabekov.

Besides, Zhalgas also sings. Besides foreign and domestic variety, he can sing songs performed by traditional singers Aigul Elshibayeva, Aigul Kosanova and Kuandyk Rahim. Since childhood, he likes to play football. At school he gathers with classmates and plays chess during the bell.

- It is a false stereotype that a student of Nazarbayev Intellectual School has no free time and no entertainment. Everything depends on the person. If you use your time effectively, you can do anything, - says the student of the 10th grade. - At the moment I am reading three books. I read books of Sauytbek Abdrakhmanov "Abyz Abish" in Kazakh, Mikhail Bulgakov "Morphine" in Russian and Arthur Conan Doyle "Baskerville Dog" in English. Under the influence of the "100 Books" project in our school from the 8th grade, book reading became my new hobby.

By the Independence Day, Zhalgas presented his poem "Tauelsizdik tugyry".

- In this life you have to find something that interests you and motivates you. A person must have high zeal, set clear goals and effectively use his or her time," says Zhalgas.
