About the International Baccalaureate Program

International Baccalaureate  - international non-governmental educational organization.

The main activities of this organization:
1. Curriculum development;
2. Assessing student achievement;
3. Teacher training;
4. Monitor schools and evaluation of their activities.

Currently, the International Baccalaureate (IB) authorized more than 3,200 schools in 141 countries around the world, with an enrollment of 945,000 students.

In IB, there are three educational programs:

For elementary school - The Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children 3 - 12 years (started in 1997 and there in 805 schools MB);
For primary school - The Middle Years Programme (MYP) for children 11 - 16 years (started in 1994 and there are 903 schools MB);
For high school - The Diploma Programme (DP) for children 16 - 19 years (started in 1968 and 2291 there is a school of MB). 

What is unique about IB?

One of the few internationally recognized educational programs, providing continuing education for children from 3 to 19 years.

• More than 35 years the program has a reputation for providing high quality education.
• One of the basic concepts of programming is the development of IB students' international awareness through the formation of national identity and patriotism. 
• The educational process in the IB aims to develop a positive attitude toward learning. Pupils learn about complicated issues, to think critically, develop research skills and participate in public works.
• Availability of programs provided through the IB and constant communication with regional offices and a network of schools IB worldwide.
