Regional tour of Robotics Olympiad

September 10 at Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Astana was held Regional tour of Robotics Olympiad among the schools of Astana city.

Overall in this competition attended 19 team from next clubs: Intellectual Schools of Astana, “Robotec” club, “Step” academy and Palace of Pupils.

Olympiad includes three categories: main, creative and football. This year organizers of World Robot Olympiad choose theme “Rap the Scrap”, which was used for the main idea of creating robots.

World Robot Olympiad was founded in 2004 and has 12-year story. In our days this competition was held more than 50 countries of the world, where attended more than 20 000 teams.

Teams who won in this competition will attend in Republican tournament that will held on 8-9 of October. Winners will present our National team on World Robot Olympiad, which will held on 25-27 of November in India, New Deli.
