International Baccalaureate: learning to grow Innovators!

6-8 of June, 2016 on the territory of the innovation center "Skolkovo" (Odintsovo, Moscow) teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Astana visited the X annual conference of the Association of International Baccalaureate Schools of Commonwealth Independent States, "International Baccalaureate: learning to grow Innovators!".

Honorary guests of the event were: Dmitry Livanov - Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Ian Chambers - Director of the International Baccalaureate Global Development, Marina Zakharova - Minister of Education of the Moscow region, Feodosiya Gabysheva - Minister of Education of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), invited scholars and professors, and also more than 150 participants from the CIS countries.

Second Day of X Annual Conference of the IBSA of Commonwealth of Independent States started with sessions of teachers from Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Astana. They organized workshops on next topics: Firuza Il'yasova, Global Context Coordinator "Interdisciplinary learning: first steps and implementation", Zhanar Amriyeva, Russian language and literature teacher and Dinara Beisembayeva, Chemistry teacher "Organizing Conceptual Learning lessons through concepts and questions", Tatyana Mashinets, English language teacher " Using TOK elements on formation of language culture".

The participants of the sessions were: Moscow Economic School, Republic of Sakha, "Pine Forest" center, Miras school, the International School of Almaty, Representatives of IB Schools from Udmurtia, Tatarstan, Samara, Perm, and Armenia, International gymnasium of "Skolkovo" innovation center, Lomonosov Moscow State University, and special guests, scientists and experts from abroad. All guests noted professional high level of
context on sessions, also they told that information that was given on workshops were useful and actual. We are pleased to hear such kind of feedback. In the near future all participants of Conference from NISA will share their experiences with colleagues.
